Abstract :
With arc furnace electrode regulator system as the research object, the discrete algorithm of piecewise-linear self-adaptive control based on model is suggested in this paper. The entire digital self-adaptive control system is designed according to the algorithm. We get the best control parameters using the inherit algorithm. Then, the simulating of the control system is practiced with Matlab Simulink. Comparing with PID control, the simulation results show that the self-adaptive control system is superior to the conventional PID control system. The digitalized simulating provides direct guide for developing a new generation of digital regulator system for arc furnace.
