Abstract :
The principle and algorithm of the multi-variable adaptive predictive control strategy based on Laguerre model is introduced, and the recursive least square algorithm of Laguerre spectral coefficients in the control strategy is amended as well, so the control performance is greatly improved by this strategy. Simulations on the Shell model of a heavy oil distillation column prove the validity and superiority of this improved control algorithm.
