Abstract
The paper constructed a quadratic programming problem to blindly detect transmitted signals by using the projection of the orthogonal complement of a received data matrix and a priori knowledge that transmitted signals belonged to finite alphabets. Then, the paper identified the transmission channel with the detected transmitted signals. If the maximal common factor of SIMO (single-input multi-outputs) channels satisfies the necessary and sufficient condition presented by the paper, the SIMO channels are blindly identifiable. Simulation results show that the new approach delivers better performance comparing with the existing approaches, regardless of SIMO channels with common zeros or not.
