Abstract :
The problem of target tracking with glint noise is investigated. A simplified multiple model filter is derived for the problem. Theory analysis proves that the proposed filter has the same estimation performance as the interacting multiple model filter but less computational cost. Numerically robust implementation of the algorithm is given to meet practical applications. Simulation results test the effect of the proposed filter.
