Abstract
In this paper the opportunity of handling the shape of lasing and laser pulse duration by current restriction of storage capacitor discharge was considered. In this work domestically produced sealed-off device LT-5CU was used as an active element. Power supply was carried out from the high-voltage rectifier, allowing changing supply voltage within 1-10 kV. Charging of storage capacitor C was carried out through the charging inductance L and diode D and had resonant character. As switching device, the composite circuit changer consisting of successively connected thyratron TGI1-1000/25 (K1) and tracitron TGU-5/12 (K2) was used. Thyratron K1 was operated in a mode of a usual switch, and tracitron K2 carried out function of current regulation of storage capacitor discharge.
