Abstract
An all-optical, compact clock recovery is demonstrated by utilizing filtered and actively amplified photocurrent in a traveling-wave electroabsorption modulator. 40 GHz optical clock was recovered from 40 Gb/s OTDM and transferred to new clock wavelength.
