Advances and trends in FPGA design

This talk gives an overview of emerging trends in the architecture of FPGAs. The topics covered includes new FPGA architectures and upcoming research topics, the growth in FPGAs with embedded tranceivers, the segmentation of FPGA architectures into mainstream and low-cost families, the relationships between FPGAs and structured ASICs, and applications and trends in CPLDs.
