Abstract :
We analyzed noise, temporal and spectral-power-density properties of 5.5 W, CW Raman-soliton continua with >300 nm bandwidth around 1.3 /spl mu/m generated in a holey-fibre pumped by Yb-fibre sources. Fibre-laser and MOPFA pumping configurations are compared.
