Abstract :
This study demonstrated a 20 mm aperture monolithically integrated fluidic zoom lens with a total thickness of 8 mm and a hybrid fluidic zoom lens with a lens distance of 25 mm. The zoom ratios for monolithic and hybrid zoom lenses are 1.8 and 3.0, respectively. This works shows that these characteristics of fluidic lenses fit uniquely to integrated zoom lenses that obtain zooming function without varying the lens distance.
