  • Abstract
    All-optical signal regeneration has been demonstrated with wavelength multicasting at 6/spl times/10 Gb/s using a single electroabsorption modulator. The output extinction-ratio, the linewidth and the pulse shape are improved and a negative power penalty is obtained.
