  • Abstract
    Theory of the recently reported mixed-mode EMI noise is reviewed and a filter design procedure is proposed to include such phenomenon. Incorporation of the phenomenon into a filter design procedure can lead to a significant reduction in filter size compared to that obtained in a conventional design procedure. A practical design example is given and the results are verified by experimental measurements.
