Abstract
This paper describes an innovative electronic design verification test (eDVT) system capable of using automated circuit simulation to emulate the complete final test performance of a production power supply design. The Web-based eDVT system facilitates the efficient cataloging and reuse of analog design IP, even where the design organization is spread geographically over several design locations. This virtual prototyping process allows the design engineer and the customer to comprehensively evaluate design performance in a timely fashion before hardware is available. The system provides significant reduction in design cycle time and improved accuracy of RFQ and customer information requests.
