Abstract :
This paper emphatically describes the function and design method of the electromagnet regulating air gap. The electromagnetic field mathematic model is built by using the finite element method, the working principle of the electromagnet is studied and the effect of the regulating air gap on attraction is analyzed. The electromagnet structure is designed with the regulating air gap design method and the original electromagnet structure is improved greatly. The distribution curves of the isodynamic lines of the two electromagnetic fields and the moving iron core attraction are obtained by using the finite element method, and the ratio of the maximum attraction to the working attraction of 2.27 is also obtained at the same time-a quasiconstant force electromagnet
