Abstract :
Electromagnetic coupling disturbances have to be given enough attention in the design of hybrid integrated power electronic module (IPEM) due to the sharply decreased distance between power devices and the control/driving circuits comparing with conventional power electronic equipment built with discrete devices. The high di/dt or high frequency parasitic current ringing is one of important disturbance sources. They can form high frequency circulating current in the bridge circuits and result in the magnetic disturbance by the mutual inductance coupling. A simplified even thin-line division partial element equivalent circuit (PEEC) approach and image method is applied for mutual inductance calculation and disturbance analysis for an actual half-bridge module test bed. The experiment validates the effectiveness of this evaluation
