Abstract
According to the characteristics of grid architecture (including heterogeneity, openness and adaptability), this paper presents a modeling framework for agent-oriented analysis and design, which uses the concepts of open organization, role, grid_agent and service etc. to analyze and design distributed application based on grid architecture. The basic concepts, abstract models and modeling steps are given. The process of analysis and design is illustrated through a case study.
