Abstract

In order to optimize the virtual organization composed by network-based multi-enterprises, it is necessary to know how to calculate the efficiency of virtual organization. Generally, the structure of the organization is simple and fixed, such as a series or parallel. However, there are much stochastic phenomena in organization when many enterprises come into being in a network-based collaborative chain. In this paper, on the basis of the analysis of stochastic phenomena in multi-enterprises business processes, it is proved that the system follows phase distribution, and then the quantitative method is given to calculate the efficiency of collaborative network.
