Abstract :
Mobility traces, which record actual movement behavior for certain segments of the population, are certainly more realistic than mobility models. This work proposes a mining method for home station selection of a mobile user. Utilizing the degrees of all nodes of a mobile user´s digraph, the paper described the selection method of candidate home stations. Considering the load balance of HLR and VLRs of a mobile terminal, we provide an optimal location mobile management method. Movement cost can decrease by selecting home base station and optimizing the balance of HLR and VLRs in location management of WATM.
