Abstract
Multiple antenna systems offer a large increase in capacity compared to traditional single antenna setups. V-BLAST is one popular algorithm for use with MIMO systems with a simple coding and decoding structure. In this article, we look at the decoding aspect of zero-forced V-BLAST and show how the performance of the algorithm can be improved through a new symbol ordering criteria.
