Abstract
In a cellular system with multi-hop networking, a mobile node is connected to a base station by relaying capability of other mobile nodes even though this node has no direct link to the base station. In order to guarantee reliability in cell design, we need to estimate the degree of cell extension considering some factors such as mobility characteristics and relaying capacity of relay nodes. This paper investigates how to estimate the degree of cell extension considering both mobility and capacity.
