Abstract
Full characterization of real base station antennas can be achieved using spherical harmonics decomposition and optimization for the purpose of human exposure assessment. This paper emphasizes the application of the technique to postprocess near field measurements to derive the power density and the equivalent plane wave power densities as defined in international safety recommendations. DiNerences and Consequences in terms of compliance evaluation are discussed.
