Abstract :
Two-port antennas with narrow element spacing are in general governed by strongly correlated port patterns and gain reduction. Whereas the correlation between the port patterns can be controlled by the choice of the load impedance, gain reduction remains unavoidable with conventional antenna circuits. This paper demonstrates that cross-coupling between the feeding points of the elements can circumvent this problem.
