Abstract :
Theoretical limits of RF transmission over MMF are modelled. A statistical analysis predicts 11 MSymbol/s QPSK transmission over 3.6 km 62.5 μm MMF at 2.5 GHz, corresponding to more than 10 times the achievable length for conventional baseband design.
