Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present a method for reconfiguration of flexible manufacturing systems (FMS). These systems have to be modified when unexpected events occur (failures, integration of new resources,...) in order to continue to ensure a certain quality of service. The proposed method first consists in looking for realizable scenarios among the set of the possible scenarios, by taking the potentialities of the system into account. In a second step, unitary then joint evaluations of the selected scenarios are performed in order to determine the best configuration. For that, simulations of models based on temporized colored Petri nets formalism are performed. A component approach enables to facilitate the obtaining of Petri nets models. The method has been successfully experimented on an example based on an industrial conveyor.
