Abstract :
One of the major disadvantages of multicarrier modulation is the high Peak-to-Mean Envelope Power Ratio (PMEPR). In this paper, we propose a systematic methodology of efficiently identifying 2k+1 distinct codewords with their PMEPRs below 3 dB for any code consisting of BPSK (binary phase shift keying) modulated codewords of lengths 2k(k non-negative integer). Our procedure of identification is based on the extended Rudin-Shapiro construction.
