Abstract :
The paper proposes a multiband reception scheme based on heterodyne reception with a novel adaptive image-band interference canceller which can be applied to OFDM-based systems. Performance of the proposed canceller is evaluated by computer simulation that keeps performance in channels with CIR of -60 dB as much as that in AWGN with CIR = -60 dB. The canceller is confirmed to suppress the image-band interference as long as the orthogonality error in RF-QCD as a Hilbert transformer is less than 40 degrees.
