Abstract
In this paper, an iterative method to reduce the peak to average power ratio (PAPR) of code-division multiplexed signals is proposed. The peak limitation is done by subtracting, from the original bandlimited CDM signal a peak reducing signal which is composed of weighted linear combination of unused bandlimited channelization codes. Thus no degradation of signal orthogonality nor extra signal spreading due to peak limitation occurs. The effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed by computer simulation experiments.
