Abstract :
We propose a good-put oriented performance measure (identified as RT, robust throughput) that accounts for connectivity, mobility and capacity induced events. Such events contribute to the robustness of the mobile ad hoc networks that accommodate realtime flows. Through analysis and extensive simulations, we investigate the performance upgrade impact attained by guiding unmanned vehicles (including unmanned ground vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles) into advantageous locations to enhance in a significant manner the life-time of network routes and thus upgrade the network robust throughput level.
