Abstract
The interactive Web- and broadcast-based 3D software standard "extensible 3D"(X3D) was used to construct the 3D virtual reality simulation examples for the courses of dynamics and fluid mechanics in this study. The web site was designed by the methodology of the problem-based learning. The physical model and the web service distributed computation ability will be integrated with X3D to compose the web content. The content of the 3D simulation is expected to enhance the motivation and learning effect for the studying of dynamics and fluid mechanics
