Abstract
In next generation wireless communication, mobile terminals will face mass data services. Thus, succinct signal processing in mobile terminals is needed to economize power, while high spectral efficiency and wireless data network reliability should be guaranteed at the same time. In this paper, we present a dynamic detector for the uplink of a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system in wireless communication. This scheme is based on succinct space-time coding by using some special random interleavers at the mobile terminal transmitter, while the base station receiver uses dynamic programming to detect the transmitted modulated symbols. Simulation results show the superiority of the proposed space-time (ST) code detector over the Alamouti code detector in some scenarios.
