Abstract :
The paper specifies a mechanism for enabling IPv6 mobile network containing mobile network nodes to traverse through IPv4 networks that are comprised of wireless LAN, CDMA and GPRS. The traversal is possible by a dynamic tunnel management protocol that dynamically updates the information of tunnel end point between mobile router and home agent, including a new IPv4 address of the mobile router.
