Abstract :
Automatic mesh generation for finite element method (FEM) plays an important role in CAD and computer simulation for TWTs´ electron optics system. The quality of mesh generation works on the precision and convergence of HEM computation. In this paper, a new algorithm of FEM automatic mesh generation, which is advancing front technique by averaging angle, is adopted. Compared with other methods, it can make better quality of mesh and has better adaptability. These characteristics have been proved by the result of the experiment.
