Abstract :
The investigation of digital high-definition television (HDTV) transmitter becomes more and more important for the DMB-T standard is being certificated in China. The power amplifier (PA) linearization circuit is the key tache of the whole transmitter chain. Digital predistortion of baseband signal is a well-known method of power amplifier common linearization techniques used in HDTV transmitter. This paper proposes a new digital baseband predistorter based on power series model of PA. The characteristics of PA can be approximately same in a relatively long time, the predistorter with none loop or feedback path in this paper is just very compatible. Simulations with DVB-T source show that the adjacent channel interference (ACI) performs a satisfying result of -60 dBc.
