  • Abstract
    This paper presents a fuzzy logic controller using in the position control of an induction motor for a bending and cutting machine. An 8-bit single chip microprocessor is used for low cost and high reliability. With help of MATLAB/Simulink, computer simulation is first done to assess the feasibility of the system proposed. Simulation results are verified experimentally. The experimental results show that the fuzzy logic controller can control the position of induction motor for the bending and cutting machine effectively.
