Abstract :
Due to lack of quality of service guarantees over the Internet, many of the video packets may be lost during the transmission. In case of the watermarked streaming video, packet lost could affect the retrieval of the embedded watermark at the client side. In this paper, we introduce a modified version of the spread spectrum watermarking technique that demonstrates a better performance against video packet loss. The watermarking algorithm and some experimental results will be presented.
