Abstract :
In this paper, semialgebraic low-density parity-check (SA-LDPC) codes on u/u+v construction are proposed. The codes by the u/u+v construction have the extended error capacity for additional Hamming weight. It is a simple way to construct a large size block code using smaller ones. Semialgebraic low-density parity-check codes in this class have a large girth and good minimum distances. They perform well with iterative decoding.
