Abstract :
Routers supporting quality of service routing (QoSR) have to maintain network QoS states, which are changing from time to time. In this paper, we propose a real-time measurement system running on QoSR routers to distributedly measure one-way available bandwidth, delay and loss rate on each link in the network, which requires no extra devices. By sample collection and data processing, the measurement results meet the requirements of accuracy, real-time, stability, light burden and scalability.
