  • Abstract
    A thermal gel material with acoustic and thermal properties similar to those of most soft tissue has been developed. Its MRI properties make it a useful tool in ultrasound thermal therapy applications for device calibration and treatment verification. The material has been fully characterized at 1.5 T.
