Abstract :
Optimal conditions of high-voltage pulse Conditioning at durations equal to the breakdown delay time in vacuum are investigated. New methods and criterions of cathode initiation estimation in pulse regime valid for cathodes of arbitrary form are presented. Experimental check on coaxial copper electrodes (d=0.2mm; S=2500mm2) has confirmed correctness of presented methods.
