Abstract :
This paper shows a design approach for a signal canceller for carrier super-positioning of VSAT satellite communications. The interference caused by the cancellation signal replica generation error has been studied in detail for both BPSK and QPSK schemes. How the phase error between signal and replica is sensitive to interference is investigated. We also propose a method for generating the replica very quickly by introducing a multi-component delay tracking code to measure the satellite round trip delay which is inevitable in generating a replica.
