Abstract :
In this paper, a new type of PID-like fuzzy controller based on three influencing factors, including the system error (e(k)), error velocity (/spl Delta/e(k)) and error acceleration (/spl Delta//spl Delta/e(k)), is designed and proposed. Compared with the conventional fuzzy controller with two influencing factors, e(k) and /spl Delta/e(k), the fuzzy controller we developed can be concluded as a new type of PID-like controller. It can generate more appropriate force to control the system, yielding a better performance. Several different systems are implemented to demonstrate the feasibility and superiority of the controller we developed.
