Abstract :
Methods using solid-state laser radiation are investigated for the treatment and prophylaxis of pathological states caused by excessive tissue fibrotization after cosmetic operations. The results of experiments carried out on culture tissues and animals are presented, as well as their clinical observations. On the basis of new facts explaining contracture capsule pathogenesis, the definition of the mechanism of the effect of solid-state laser radiation on capsular contracture around an implant is proposed.
