Ultrasonic piezoelectric transducers having low level of false signals
Abstract :
Implementation of the design considerations and calculation methods for the soundguides of piezoelectric transducers of laid-on type having low level of false signals is considered. Equations for calculation of the main geometrical parianeters of the soundguides are presented. Estimation of the piezoelement side lobes effect on the level of false signals is analyzed based on the ultrasound signals propagation. Dependences of the level of false signals on the design parameters is obtained.
