Abstract :
A proprietary design of microstrip liquid-crystal phase shifter controlled by electric field is proposed. Frequency and phase responses of the shifter obtained in quasi-TEM approximation for one-dimensional models well agree with the experimental ones. An opportunity of using the device on millimeter wavelengths is shown.
