Studies on the key technology in the network learning system based on NC/LINUX

By analyzing the characteristics of the classic interactive visualization technology, a framework of the multimedia network learning system based-on NC/Linux is suggested. Interactive visualization is implemented by a simplified Java3D scene-graph. Streaming media technology using JMF in network learning is studied, including streaming media capturing, transmitting, receiving and presenting. Field tests of the system based on the paper have shown satisfactory performance which can implement real-time interaction in learning system.
