Abstract
The aim of This work is to clarify if today´s governing systems in Europe; the new approach directives, national legislations, standards, etc., ensure that electrical equipment is safe and electromagnetic compatible. Following these clarifications, This work tries to specify the means and methods as to how the governing systems should be improved so as to better fulfill the needs of citizens, entrepreneurs and authorities, today and in the future.
