Abstract :
We developed a digital video processor (DVP) which realizes a 1-chip solution for consumer products. We could develop the 1-chip solution DVP because we used SiP-SDRAM as an unified memory. DVP has 3-dimensional Y/C separation, 3-dimensional noise reduction, 3-dimensional IP converter and other major video-decoder functions. DVP can process world-wide video signals. This work presents DVP for FPD-TV. DVP uses system in a package (SiP) technology and reduces EMI, ringing noise and total cost.
