Abstract :
Transmission of high-quality video over wireless home networks is challenging due to time-varying channel conditions. We propose a technique for video rate control that is suitable for low-delay transmission over such networks. We report simulation results using the proposed rate control technique in a bit rate reducing MPEG-2 video transcoder.
