Abstract :
We propose an error concealment algorithm that is processed only at the decoder side without using any backchannels. Unlike other methods, which aim to minimize errors in each frame, the proposed error concealment method employs spatio-temporal error recovery and adaptive post filter technique to improve picture quality by suppressing temporal picture quality fluctuations.
