Abstract
This paper deals the total synthesis problem of structural parameters and dynamic output feedback controller for a class of descriptor systems with restricted control input. First, the closed-loop system is described by descriptor form. Secondly, sufficient condition for the state space region with guaranteed L2 performance is represented by some matrix inequalities. Based on these matrix inequalities, the total synthesis problem is formulated as an optimization problem. This problem is reduced to two convex optimization problems. This paper presents an improved approach to solve these two problems. A numerical example is demonstrated to illustrate the applicability of the improved method.
