Abstract :
An improved DMA controller for high speed data transfer in MPU-based SoC is proposed in this paper. It can boost the data transfer rate 3-4 times compared with original MPU bus architecture and almost double the data transfer rate of conventional DMA method. It is especially suitable for the MPU based SoC related to the data transfer of large numbers.
